Our waitress was horrible. We were there for about 2 hours and she came over maybe 3 times. Other than that, this place is pretty good. We ordered the fried pickles, wagyu sliders, cornbread, and chicken and waffles. Overall the food is good. The sliders were by far the best thing we ordered. The drinks were also good although we had to remind our waitress we ordered green tea shots that she never gave us. The live music was also very good. Had the service been better I would consider coming back but I canβt justify the lack of service over the decent food.
Good food but incredibly loud in the evening. Not a good place if you want to have a conversation. The menu selection is very bar food which is expected. The drink menu looks good but everything was incredibly watered down and not worth the price. The only thing we were able to really drink that wasn't watered down was beer. At around 9:45 on Friday they moved all the tables out of the way for live music and the band was very talented but it got so loud and full of college kids that our group had to leave. If I were in my early 20s, this place would have been great (minus the watery drinks), but nowadays, it's just too loud and not worth the money. Good location across from the Boch Center.
Came for brunch today, Easter Sunday, with my family. We had a lovely time and an awesome waitress and manager who attended to our needs and questions with the brunch list. Would highly recommend this place located across the Wang Theatre theatre district.
Great food, great service, great drinks, and right across the street from the Wang Theater! Especially loved the spicy margarita, the crispy chicken tenders with honey mustard, and wedge potatoes (crispy, salty, and wonderful). Upstairs seemed like a fun place to listen to live country music!
I was invited by my friend Neil to come to a karaoke place called Nash bar, to do karaoke singing, he said they have a live karaoke band that will play to your singing! And I said that's awesome I will be there! And I wondered to myself? I wonder if they'll be as good as that banned from Lansdowne bar another karaoke band that was in 2018 and 2019 before covid hit! So I got up there and it's right in the heart of Chinatown on the Tremont side, and I asked a really silly question but I had to know? I told the manager of this karaoke band, I said the last time I did this with a live band was at a place close to Fenway Park called Lansdowne bar! His expression perked up when I said that, he said these guys have played at Lansdowne bar before, and this grabbed my attention! And when he said that I wondered to myself, is it possible this is the same band that I was invited to sing with back then? I spoke to one of the guys in the band, and he smiled and said yes we are that same band! He said the members are a little different but my brother played in the original band and he's coming tonight! And I will let him know about you! I was very excited to hear about that because I actually got to write about this band in the first book now published on Amazon! And I told the band member I said you guys are in the book! I wrote about my experience at Lansdowne bar in the book! And I had an awesome time singing with you guys! How funny is that to be invited to a place you'd never been to before, and to find out you're going to run into the same band that you used to sing with? I mean you just can't make this stuff up that's amazing and I got to write them! I was extremely happy that it was the same band even though it was different members! So here I am and I'm going to be singing with the same band again! That night was extremely awesome! I had a great time and I will be back there next Thursday! I appreciate my friend inviting me I had no idea it was going to be the same band that I got to write about when I first sang with them in 2018 or 2019! What an amazing reunion I had with them! I just could not believe it was the same band! πππ
We shared the potato wedges chicken sliders and baby back ribs. The sliders were ok, but no real flavor. The ribs had something in the meat that could not be chewed.. it was all found at bottom of ribs (like should have been cut off before cooking). Water was warm.
Only good thing was potato wedges.
Enjoyed some quality time with my mom and child before a comedy show.
Food and drinks were very good. Whiskey Flight was great! We did not enjoy the green onion grits but the short ribs were ππΌ, same for the steak tip. Service was amazing until it got crowded then service became minimal. Waited almost 15 minutes for my dessert to arrive. It never came so I asked for them to take it off my bill and close me out. Would maybe return again but definently during off peak hours.
The food here is fantastic, the servers are attentive and the service is fast. It's usually very busy and therefore loud, and often has live music playing so it's not a place to go for a quiet or romantic dinner. The only negative is that the drinks are a bit hit or miss and are sometimes watered down. Otherwise, it's the perfect place to grab a bite before a show at the Wilbur or Wang.
